The exhibition, In Living Colour is now up at the Grant Bradley Gallery until the end of the month. Why not pop down and have a look? The private viewing was a lot of fun as you can see from these photos. Simon, from Colart, maker of Winsor and Newton and Liquitex paints had been down the previous day to select 4 prize winners. Well done to Jon Mills who won first prize of £250 in vouchers but also to Oliver Sidaway, winner of the second prize of £125 in vouchers, Ian Williamson and Huw Richards-Evans who both won prizes of £75 in vouchers each. Many thanks to Cola Art for their generosity!

As previously mentioned there was a selection of life drawings using the new Liquitex Acrylic marker pens. Ian won a prize for his.

This is the third show that we’ve been able to put together with the help of the Grant Bradley Gallery in a little over a year which is ironicl because I’ve always wanted this to be the sort of group where you can quietly practise and not worry about what anyone else thinks. It is great, however to be able to provide people with opportunities if they feel it’s right for them, and long may it continue!Image
